Friday’s Five, April 21

  • We didn’t know what we were doing, we weren’t trying to follow or create a model. We just did what the Holy Spirit led us to do.
  • Opportunity favors the prepared, but real growth only happens when people act on an opportunity.
  • Have you ever looked at the bud of magnolia flower? It’s a tight little pod that stays closed up for a long time on the ends of its branch until one day, out of nowhere, it finally bursts open into this gigantic, gorgeous, fragrant flower that’s ten times bigger than the bud itself .
  • As beautiful as it was to watch April give birth to the baby giraffe, I’m so thankful that we don’t use our mouths to clean ourselves or each other. Am I right?
