friday’s five: may 18

Here are five things I heard this week. What did you hear?

  • I heard some really good music this week from my son. Something about the way he writes and the layers he creates. Sigh. I could listen all day. (i guess it kind of mean to talk about it but not share, huh? Someday!)
  • “You were diving down in the ocean, looking for an oyster with a pearl in it. But, every one you found and pried open had a pearl in it. Every single one…treasure after treasure.” –a little encouragement from a friend
  • I saw this

  • Good is the enemy of best
  • Hush, hush / You don’t have to have the answers
Hush, hush / I will gather all the branches
I will light a fire for you / Rest your head ’til you’ve had rest enough
    Hush, hush
One cup of water at a time / ‘Til you remember you are mine (Nichole Nordeman)
