friday’s five, may 25

Here are five things I heard this week. What did you hear?

  • Tempos are the enemy to my nerve – Winter Scott
  • Tension does not mean that something is wrong. It means something is happening – Graham Cooke
  • By giving a gladiolus (flower) to someone, the giver sends the message “you pierce my heart” to the receiver, because of the flower’s pointed, sword shape.
  • Faith is the evidence of things not seen — a translation — When I can’t see you, my faith is the evidence you’re there.

There are the three things you need to know about me. I am a child of God, and I love being about his business; I have a gigantic heart for discipleship, worship, leadership, and creative things; I could eat BBQ morning, day, and night. For more information, see the ABOUT page
