friday’s five, sept 7

Out of the kabillion things I heard this week, here are five that stand out.

  • There can be no fear or comparison in intimacy — Pat Chen
  • Skillful literally means “wise of heart” in the Hebrew language. The “gift of skill” translates “spirit of wisdom” — there is much more to being skillful than having ability.
  • God is good at creating his own moments, we don’t have to perform for him or on his behalf.
  • We stand in the love that was present before creation existed — Graham Cooke
  • Ten things that require zero talent: Being on time, work ethic, effort, body language, energy, attitude, passion, being coachable, doing extra, being prepared.
