Friday’s Five, september 21

Here are five things I’ve heard about peace in my small group, and we’re just getting started:

  • The source of peace is Jesus and he speaks (releases) it out to us — Isaiah 9, Psalm 29, and many more
  • His kingdom and peace will always be increasing — Isaiah 9
  • He shall (must) be our peace — Micah 5
  • Jesus rebuked the wind (the disturber) and spoke Peace! to the sea (the disturbed)  — Mark 4
  • Righteousness and peace are lovers — Psalm 85
