When I asked the Lord for 25 simple thoughts about joy, I purposefully asked for all different kinds. I knew I would go searching for joy thoughts in the Bible, that’s what I do and who I am. But, I also wanted some that were fun and that surprised me in the middle of my day, and some that came from friends and community.
Well… A friend, who knows of my JOY mission, sent me this picture a couple of days ago. I treasured it in my heart!
I’m learning what God’s playfulness looks like in this season of life. I think Dunkin’ Donuts is spot on — all the variety, all the sprinkles, all my favorites. The only things wrong with this picture are that it is in fact only a picture and that it is only a 1/2 dozen. I’m gonna need the whole dozen… to share with others of course!
