#25 Joy With US

This last thought is super simple.

  • There is fullness of joy in his presence. The psalmist writes, You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
  • His name is Emmanuel, God is with us. Isaiah prophesied and, then, the angel of the Lord resounded to Joseph, Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall call his name Immanuel, (which means, God with us). Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23

He is with us + His presence is fullness of joy = Joy With Us

Friends, Jesus delights. He delights in you. He delights in your friendship. He delights in taking care of you. He delights in listening to you. He delights in talking back. He delights in overflowing on you. He delights in teaching you. Jesus delights in being with you now, and he delights in being with you forever. He will never stop delighting in you. His joy is already complete and full, it will never end.

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with GREAT JOY. Jude 1
