Everyday Response

Starting soon! Everyday Response: Living from the Heart of God*. Short, daily thoughts about pursuing life from the source of life.

The psalmist writes, One thing I ask of the Lord, to see his beauty…to live in his presence…to meditate in his temple. (Ps 27). That’s the hope behind these daily thoughts—to get us looking at Jesus and responding, living, from that place. I have found it is easy to start there, but hard to remain there. My best intentions to don’t keep me looking at Jesus. It is a conscious, continually decision to redirect my gaze and take root in his heart.  

*A recurring passion of mine is the nature of God and how it inundates my life…well, if I let it. Everyday Response is a combination of two studies I’ve done in the past about who God is, 365 Days of Responding (2010) and Revealed (2018)— revised, repurposed, and re-framed.
