We can dream in hard places. We can still encounter God there. God doesn’t push us away in punishment or leave us alone in pain. He is always with us, pulling us closer. We can lay our head down and rise from the hard place and make it a pillar. Declare it as a house of God.
As a kid, rest stops were a highlight on family road trips. It wasn’t the pristine restrooms. It was the vending machines. I had a pocket full of change and opportunity. Potato chips or candy?
