Dart Board

I believe the Lord speaks to us in different ways. Sometimes it is through pictures, dreams, visions. Regardless of the way, they are helpful to reveal his thoughts about circumstances, questions, direction, etc. Occasionally, I share the pictures I see in worship and prayer. The hope and prayer are that they point you to Jesus and his unconditional, undeniable, and great love for you.

Here is a picture I saw during a recent time of worship.

Dart Board – July 18, 2021

I saw a dartboard hanging on a wall. There were many darts lodged in it; Each tip had a coat of poison. I watch a hand gently remove the darts one by one. In their place, an injection of truth was given. The board began to change. It became a heart, alive and beating.

I believe this picture is for someone who is being or has been attacked by words and/or actions. Although, there can be more applications.

I pray you tangibly feel God the Father removing every lie shot into your heart. His love is healing oil, ointment into every wound and tear–making it new and tender again. His truth is stronger than any lie, attack, target placed on you.

You are not a piece in someone else’s game. You are God’s workmanship. You are not worthless. You are wonderfully made. You are not what others say about you. You are what God says about you — he doesn’t make mistakes.

I encourage you to carve out some time to spend with Jesus in prayer and his word. Let him minister to your heart. Ask a friend to pray with you. Write scriptures down that he gives you. Read them out loud daily–that’s what confession looks like.
