I woke up this morning to sound of angels singing. No words, just voices on an “ah.”The sound woke me from a dream that depicted normal day-to-day things without truth — where we were living in a concession to sickness and pervertedness, and trying to be positive about it.
As I started to pray, I broke fellowship with the world and ungodly counsel (Psalm 1), and I prayed that over the Body of Christ too. Then I felt like the Holy Spirt led me to Psalm 119 because the chapter is full of breaking fellowship with the world and making covenant with God and his word. Consider this verse today, ask the Spirit to read it with you. He’s a Counselor!
How can a young man keep is way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:9-11
Jesus, we turn our eyes to you, the only wise king. We seek you with all we have. We come today to feast on your word, to be washed in your word, and stand firm in the Cornerstone!
