Remember how bright and strange the face of Moses was when he came down from meeting with God? The people had to put a veil over him. Paul tells us that the ministry of the Spirit has even more glory! Peter calls it the Spirit of glory that rests on us when people try to “veil” us with insults because of Christ.
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 1 Peter 4:14
When we spend time with Jesus, we are changed, and his Spirit will rest on us as a testimony to everyone around us. It is light in darkness.
As we set our hearts on the coming of Jesus, and his coming again, we say, Spirit of Glory, find a resting place in us and on us. Light us up.
