DECEMBER 11, Son of the Most High
Adoration & Worship
Jesus, you are the Son of the Most High God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Your throne is forever; there is no end to your reign. And we know you have given us understanding so that we may know you who is true and eternal life — through you, Jesus, we are in the Father, now children of God. Luke 1:31-33, 1 John 5:20
Repentance & Confession
Forgive me, Jesus, I have not loved my enemies the way you asked me to. Help me love, do good, expect nothing in return, and be merciful. As a child of God, I want to be merciful even as the Father is merciful. Luke 5:35-36
Petition (asking for personal needs)
Jesus, you did nothing of your own accord, but only what you saw the Father doing. I need to be more like you. John 5:19
Intercession (praying for others)
That your church would walk as children of light, bearing the fruit of light—all that is good and right and true, and that we would discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Holy Spirit, help us. Ephesians 5:9-10
Thanksgiving
Father, you loved us so much that you gave us your only son. Thank you. We believe in you, Jesus, and are no longer condemned to death, but have eternal life through you. What a savior! John 3:16-18
