God, you are love! We love because you first loved us. 1 John 4:8, 19
Repentance & Confession
Forgive me, Jesus, my first love. I don’t want lukewarm love. I want to match your love for me—strong as death, a most vehement flame, unquenchable. Revelation 2:4, 3:16, Song of Solomon 8:6-7
Petition (asking for personal needs)
I want to love you, Lord, with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and all my strength. That is the greatest commandment. Continue teaching me about love. And let this love overflow to others, to people who surround me. Mark 12:30-31
Intercession (praying for others)
Strengthen our inner beings, Lord, with the power of your Spirit, so that you may dwell in us. Strengthen our faith! Ground us and root us in your love, so we can understand how high, how wide, how deep your love is. We want to know you and be filled with your fullness. Ephesians 3:14-19
Thanksgiving
Thank you, God, we are being perfected in your love, until every fear is cast out. We don’t have to be noisy clatter. Rather, we get to be demonstrations of your kindness, joy, and endurance. 1 John 4:18, 1 Corinthians 13
