Adoration & Worship
Your name, Jesus, is called Wonderful Counselor. In you are the depths of riches and wisdom and the knowledge of God. For from you are all things. Isaiah 9:6, Romans 11:33
Repentance & Confession
I do not want to be like a mule, curbed and bridled. I want to keep my eyes on you. That’s where your counsel is. That’s how you instruct and teach me the way I should go. Psalm 32:8-9
Petition (asking for personal needs)
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and the knowledge of you, Holy one, is insight. I want to be your friend. I want to learn from you, Jesus. Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 25:14, Matthew 11:29
Intercession (praying for others)
For your church, Lord, that we would see our need for wisdom in this day and hour, and ask you for it. You give generously without reproach. Give us faith, too, so we are not unstable and tossed by the wind, but remain steadfast in you and your ways. James 1:5-8
