Friday’s Five, aug 10

Here are five things I heard this week. What did you hear?

  • God has never been in a box. We are the ones in boxes! It is time to let the Holy Spirit take the lid off so that, in gratitude to Him, we can become all that we can be in Him. — Jim Goll
  • I heard a bunch of family noises this week: laughing, playing, eating, dreaming, consoling, teasing, loving.
  • Offense never lets you go — you have to let it go. — Julie Myer
  • There is a deadly poison that will kill our ministry and our ability to walk in our calling…the poison of covetousness. Comparing ourselves to someone else and wanting what they have produces death. –Jim Goll
  • Father, I trust your “No” and I am excited about your “Yes”

There are the three things you need to know about me. I am a child of God, and I love being about his business; I have a gigantic heart for discipleship, worship, leadership, and creative things; I could eat BBQ morning, day, and night. For more information, see the ABOUT page
