It’s Just Silly

Me: Hey “CJ” (one of my students), How are you doing today?

CJ: Good! We’re learning about MLK in school.

Me: Oooh. That’s fantastic. What have you learned so far?

CJ: (pause) … it’s just silly to be mean to someone because of the way they look.
