I guess I could be known for many things
and many things could be said of me
but I’ll be clear; I only care
to be known as surrendered

it used to be Stubborn
but you have changed the way I move

I’m most courageous when I yield 
at your feet instead of others 
it may seem weak and maybe feeble 
but all I feel is strong and able

I guess I could be known by lots of people
and lots of people could know of me
but I’ll be honest; I don’t care
as long as I am known by you

My name is Yours
it used to be Self
but you have changed the way I see

I’m most brave drawn near to you
charting turns and suddenlies
it may be risky, even scary
but all I feel is loved and seen
